Luke sat in the kitchen of his apartment that he shared with his family. It was around 3 o'clock. He looked over in the living room. Nathan, three and a half, sat on the floor, watching a TV show. Lily, a year and a half, was lying on a blanket, fast asleep. He sighed. They might be in danger. Both he and River, along with Wyatt, Chris, and Talley, thought that Cole might go after them sometime. He sighed. He was glad he had people like them to help protect his kids. He loved them more than anything. The young father sighed. He knew that River and Wyatt had seen their future children, but he didn't know anything about the twins Amber was currently carrying. What would they be like? What were their powers be?

Amber actually got off early that day, so she walked into the apartment, smiling a bit. Nate looked up as his mother appeared. "Mommy!" he exclaimed. He jumped up, and raced over to hug his mother tightly. Amber grinned, and smiled. "Hey, Nate!" she exclaimed smiling. She smiled over at Luke.

Luke looked up at Amber and smiled sadly. He stood up, and headed over to her and gave her a kiss on the lips, glad she was alright. He had been worried about her lately. If Cole attacked her, Luke would most likely come unhinged. Which was a very bad idea, especially for Telepaths. "You feeling alright?" he asked. Amber was just coming out of her first trimester of pregnancy.
