BFFs (Tabby and Anyone Else)

The gypsy couldn't help but sigh as she went into the resteraunt. She was exhausted from school that day, and from a demon attack on her and her baby sister earlier that day. Thanks to her special Third-Eye gift, she was able to save them both, but that didn't mean that Marina Niccolli wasn't exhausted. She sighed as she was seated at a booth, and took out her lap-top, starting to write.

Tabitha sighed as she went into Quake. She just wanted to get something to eat or get some caffeine. She looked around, and then saw someone familier. She smiled, and headed over to the young girl sitting at the booth.
"Hey, Gypsy girl," said Tabitha as she sat down across from her, "Watcha doing, Marina?"

"Hello, Cupid girl," said Marina, continueing to type. She smiled and looked up at her best friend, "Typing, thinking of how much my life sucks."
She looked up at her friend again, and smiled.
"You know," she said, "All in the life of a Gypsy-Phoenix with the gift of the third eye, which sucks, by the way Aunt Lydia."
She looked at her best friend.
"I think they're watching me," she said, referring to her grandmother and great-aunt, "Hell, I know they are. Aunt Lydia chose me to be the stupid Third Eye guardian, not Eric or Lydie. Nope, she had to chose me. How are you? Life can't be easy for a Witch-Cupid either, Cupid girl."

Tabby gave her best friend a sympathetic smile.
"Hey, life for magical being often sucks," she said smiling, "Wyatt, Chris, Aunt Piper, Unlce Leo, Mom, Dad, Aunt Paige, Melinda, Steven.... they're all examples, so are we."
She grinned.
"And that eye thingy is cool! You get to shoot green lasers out of your eyes. That is extremely useful, PLUS you can shimmer and shoot energy-balls! What can I do? See the future, leviatate, and heart. Wonder who wins in power category, huh Marina."

Marina looked at her best friend and smiled.
"OK," she said, "Phoenix-Gypsy and Cupid-Witch in a power contest, I have to admit, my powers are a bit more. But come on, being Phoenix sucks."
She looked down at the birthmark on her wrist and smiled.
"But it's kind of cool being one," she admitted.
